Veteran Broadcaster Kala Suri Arundathi Sriranganathan Passes Away in Australia – Final Rites to Be Held in Sri Lanka


Renowned broadcaster Kala Suri Arundathi Sriranganathan, who dedicated nearly four decades to Sri Lanka Broadcasting Corporation (SLBC), passed away in Australia on the 17th of this month.
 
Her final rites will be conducted in Sri Lanka, with arrangements made for the public to pay their respects.
 
Her remains will be placed at the reception hall of SLBC today (Friday, 28th) from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, allowing radio listeners and well-wishers to pay their last respects.
 
Additionally, on Sunday, March 2nd, the body will be kept for public viewing at No. 4, 40th Lane, Wellawatte, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The final cremation ceremony will take place at Kanatte Public Cemetery, Borella, at 2:00 PM.
 
All who wish to honor her memory are invited to attend.
